True Beauty: The Desire of the Nations

So it is said, Beauty is in the eyes of the Beholder.  In other words, instead of an absolute interpretation of beauty, it's relative on an individual basis.
The ambiguous term is uniquely interpreted within the biases, affinities, and discretion of the one who is gazing, observing, and comprehending ( through the lens of such personal qualifications).

As hard as it is for some to believe...there really is an absolute impeccable essence which every heart, mind and soul that receives and experiences it, unanimously defines as Beauty.

God, through Christ, reveals Himself as beautiful to EVERY ONE who chooses to behold Him.
Those who take time to gaze upon Him and comprehend Him through His revealed Word, fellowship of prayer, and intimacy in worship discover that He is Beauty; to the nth degree.
The Presence of God will awe every receptive heart, exceeding our purest and broadest definitions of beauty. Though it doesn't appease fleshly lusts and pretentious cravings, it suppresses their attractiveness.

And though God's Beauty super-cedes our notions, it still encompasses many of our individual predilections because,
through Christ, God reveals Himself to us in special, personal ways that appeal to the strongest attractions of our own hearts, minds and souls. He satisfies and fulfills the needs and desires of our hearts, while simultaneously expanding them into greater passions of His heart.
No wonder Scripture describes Him as the Desire of the Nations and the Lover of our Souls!

The more we are captivated by His love, the more we realize that the eyes of our heart's understanding can only gaze upon such  brilliance through the lens of His grace and mercy.
It's only through Jesus!
God's love for us is so beautiful that He sacrificially marred His own Son to make a way for us to know Him and be smitten by His love.
He revealed the greatest concept of Love for us, so that we can love Him with the fervent love that He first loved us (1 John 4:19).
Jesus said, "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends" (John 15:13)  And that's what He did for us! The Book of Isaiah reveals that Jesus'  visage was marred more than any man (Isaiah 52:14). He took the burden of our ugly sinfulness upon Himself as He was condemned on the cross; so that we can receive and partake of His Beauty. Jesus bore our sins so that we could be forgiven and reconciled to the Father; filled with His resurrection power; the power of the Holy Spirit.
.
The more we experience this great exchange; the more the eyes of our hearts are enlightened to comprehend the breadth, length, depth and height of His love (Eph 3:18). Through faith, we trade the ugliness of our nakedness, poverty and blindness for His garments of grace, invaluable abundance, and eternal vision; discovering that He is our All and All.

He is YHWH Tsavaot, the Lord of Hosts, our Protector, Defender and Shield (2 Chron. 20:15)
He is YHWH Rapha, The Lord our Healer (Ex 15:26) and Deliverer (Ps. 18:2)
He is our YHWH Jireh, The Lord our Provider (Phil 4:19).
He is our King that dictates our circumstances to work out for our good (Rom 8:28).
He is our Bridegroom that envelopes us in His zealous love (Eph 5:32)
He is ALTOGETHER LOVELY!!
TRUE, Priceless Beauty really can be revealed to the eyes of the beholder. That's why we need to Behold Him More!
